Promulgation Ceremony of the Malaysian Youth Statement on Climate Change towards COP21

We, the Malaysian Youth Delegation (MYD), have produced the Malaysian Youth Statement on Climate Change to be submitted to our Prime Minister in conjunction with the upcoming COP21 @ Paris in December. Conference of Parties (COP) is an annual UN Climate Change conference where the world will gather to produce an international agreement to combat climate change effectively and boost the transition towards resilient, low-carbon societies and economies.

An official promulgation ceremony in conjunction with training session by Prof. Dr Fredolin Tangang, an IPCC scientist and  a climate change expert from UKM, will be held.

Dalam usaha untuk mempeliharan alam semulajadi dan tangani masalah perubahan iklim, polisi dan perundangan negara perlu dihalusi. Pada persidangan Parlimen Malaysia yang akan datang, kami akan menganjurkan suatu lawatan pendidikan. Hanya 5 orang yang akan dipilih untuk menyertai rombangan pada kali ini. Sila nyatakan “Kenapa anda patut dipilih?” dalam ruangan ‘any other matters’ dalam borang di bawah.

Keputusan pemilihan akan diumumkan pada 20 Oktober 2015 telah diumumkan dan para peserta telah dimaklumkan melalui emel.

4) Membawa masuk telefon bimbit, kamera serta lain-lain alat telekomunikasi ke dalam Dewan Negara / Dewan Rakyat (Alatan ini boleh disimpan di Kaunter Pengawal Pintu 7)
5) Membawa peralatan berbahaya yang boleh mengancam keselamatan

Pelawat dikehendaki menepati masa lawatan yang telah dipersetujui.
Pelawat akan memasuki bangunan Parlimen selepas mereka melalui pemeriksaan keselamatan rapi dan melalui mesin pengimbas bagi tujuan keselamatan di Pintu 7.
